I’m the youngest of five, the only redhead in my family, and the kind of person who has always felt things a little deeply. I have a soft spot for old photographs, vintage textures, thoughtful details, beautiful places, and anything that feels like it holds a story. And yes, I will probably get a little teary-eyed behind my camera at your wedding.
I’m endlessly inspired by love in all its forms, the people closest to me, and the beauty God has tucked into the world around us. I notice the way light spills across a room, the movement of a dress in the wind, the hands reaching for each other under the table, and all those tiny moments that could so easily go unseen. I love 35mm film, Super 8, old family photographs, lace and little handmade details, European walls with a hundred years of texture, travelling somewhere I’ve never been, hosting dinner parties and craft clubs and making ordinary life feel a little cinematic. I’m sentimental to my core, and I think that’s probably why this work means so much to me.
My relationship with Jesus is the most precious part of my life, and I’m endlessly grateful that this is the work He has allowed me to do. Getting to make art with His creation, and preserve little pieces of people’s lives along the way, is a gift I’ll never take lightly.
that photographs don’t have to choose between being beautiful and honest. I want the perfectly composed portrait and the blurry dance-floor photograph. The cinematic landscapes and your grandma tearing up. The grand, breathtaking moments and the tiny ones you didn’t even realize I saw. Because the photographs that matter most aren’t simply beautiful: they hold a piece of what it felt like to be there.
