My desire with capturing stories with both a documentary and cinematic touch is to paint the big moments and the fleeting ones, the “i do” moments along with the catching of eyes, the laughter and smiles and the hugs with loved ones. My artistry also seeks to document these moments cinematically. We all know how it feels to put on a movie and cry, noticing all the moments, the love, the details. I seek to create this emotion through the way i capture it. A movie of your life: real, dynamic, artful and authentic. In my opinion, these two styles intertwined creates the perfect mix.

How long does it take to receive my gallery & how will it be delivered?
The wait is hard, I know!!! For weddings, you’ll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours so you have something to swoon over right away, followed by your final images in a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download & share them with all your favourite people. Full wedding gallery turnaround is 8-10 weeks. Couples & Family session turnaround is 3-4 weeks.
What about travel?
Take me with you!!! I photograph weddings throughout BC, Ontario & beyond. For regular weddings and sessions in Canada, travel is $0.75/km after the first 100km from Chatham (for Ontario) & Chilliwack (in BC) ; for destination weddings, travel is quoted separately based on your location and dates and typically includes flights, accommodation & local transportation.
What happens if the weather doesn’t look good?
Honestly? Some of my favourite photographs happen when the weather decides not to cooperate!!! A little wind, rain, fog or moody sky can make for some seriously beautiful images. We’ll keep an eye on things, make adjustments when needed (like maybe finding another location for photos!), and embrace what the day gives us, because your story doesn’t need perfect weather to be beautiful.
